Life Grows On

I find it hard to take a good picture of a 12x12 page so if you have any tips let me know. Well atleast you can see the layout and stuff. It is also better is you click it to see the bigger picture. I had these pictures of our crab apple tree sitting around. I printed them because they are just so great! I love how the tree changes so fast from little pink blooms to white blossoms to crab apples. Sadly i forgot to take some pictures of the crab apples but they arent as pretty as the flowers anyway. You cant really see it but i stiched a border around the utside edge in white thread. I am really loving the cute little prima flowers in the island pastel pack. the big white flower is from a scrapbook store and it was just in like the "bulk" tins so i dont really know what it is but its pretty.
That transparent flower with the green inking i made just by cutting it out of some scrap plastic. of course I had to add a couple paperclips too :)
The big white flower was to plain so i decided to stamp on it. I really like the look of it and how it matches the other stamping. On other projects I plan to dye the white flowers with re-inkers to make them coordinate. This is a little velum circle that i stamped and wrote the date on. I hate when glue shows through velum so i just attached it with a brad.

This is in the top left corner. I like the stamping and I thought this was an appropriate title because the pictures kind of show the cycle of the tree.

Supply list:

  • ink- green pigment ink, cameo coral, wild wasabi
  • stamps- SU artfully asian
  • paper- whisper white, cameo coral, wild wasabi, pink pirouette (all SU), velum
  • other- prima flowers, brads, bling brads, white letter rub-ons, paperclips, ribbon, buttons, sewing machine, scrap plastic
