Pets mini book

Hey everyone! aww im sad that its the last day of holidays :( back to school tomorrow... its not even nice out either! oh well I will get to wear my new coat. Thats always good too i suppose... I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend! This mini book is all about my pets! i will post the rest of the pages of it later when they are finished. see that little tag with the pawprint on it? i made it! amazing i know lol. it is real easy too. all you do is put on three layers of embossing powder and stamp the image when its still hot. it is so cool actually. yah grungeboard hinges hooray!
I like to make all my own mini books for the most part and this one was a little chalenging because i wanted to use the hinges. i actually used brown tape to put all the pages together and then put some on the spine too. the paper on the pages covers the tape except for that little bit you can see between the pages but hey it coordinates wahoo!
see the bronze things holding the grungeboard hinges on? well those are actually buttons! they are the pearly kind with the loops on the back. i embossed them with my favouite bronze powder. i painted the hinges with bronze fabric paint actually. Then i just crazy glued the back of the button onto the cover through the hinge.

Supply list:

Ink- choc. chip (SU)
Paper- prima brown and tan swirl, creamy caramel, making memories ledger esquire, music note paper
Stamps- dog pawprint from Micheal's
other- cerial box, grungeboard hinges, flowers, buttons, embossing powder, SU brad, bronze fabric paint, silver ring, ribbon, antique linnen crackle paint, crazy glue, photo corners
