Roly mini album

Oh happy day! This is a little 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 album i made for some friends of ours while we were dogsitting their little dog. It is his story of the time he had with us in his perspective (which is a very interesting view) read the journaling by clicking the photo to increase size. The front cover is some translucent plastic I had. The title and brads in the middle of the small flowers are on the outside. The small flowers are attached to the other side and everything else is on the next page
The black dog is my dog Skippy and the black and white one is Roly.
I used a single hole punch to make all the holes in the cardboard. All of the background paper is normal binder loose leaf. I glued it onto the cardboard and poked a pencil through the paper so the hole went all the way through. I used my SU canvas stamp on some pages and inked the edges After all the pages were done i put on the bronze coil. I just took it off an old notebook and squished it back together with pliers.
All the journaling is printed off the computer.
I had fun using the canvas stamp to make the pages have a scrappy textured look. I also like the look of the tea dye distress ink on the edges.
The loose leaf paper is glued so that the lines are going all different ways.

Supply List:

  • ink- black, tea dye distress ink, SU wild wasabi
  • paper- loose leaf, black, soft sky (SU), white
  • stamps- canvas (SU), pawprint, bone
  • other- cardboard, hole punch, bronze coil, sand paper, plastic covers, printed journaling, prima flowers, punched flowers, brads
