Tab mini book

Arrg school days feel soooo long! our classes are 88 minutes and it seems to take forever! last year they had them at 60 somethin minutes and that was way better. oh well.. i suppose i will get used to it. anyway.. The minibook you have all been waiting for!! The TAB BOOK!!! This one took me awile. look at all that ribbon! i had to restock my supply after this one. it doesnt have any photos yet because i can't decide on any that will fit the image of the book. There are tons of tags in it (one on almost every page) and all kinds of hidded photo matts. i really enjoyed making this... it was alot of fun.
That orange "ribbon" there is actually strips of fabric. i only included a few pages but if u really want to see the rest just let me know and i can post more.
see the cute watch thing on a chain? i have had it for awile and this just seemed like a nice place for it. I made the pages all different sizes and i used my circle cutter to make the tabs on the edges.
The safety pin and charm thing is becoming my trademark i think! see the one with the ladybug charm? pretty cool... also there is another faux metal tag with a flower on it. (made with 3 layers of emboss powder and stamped while still hot) Oh and i used several bobby pins in this book too. they are neat to use and you can attach ribbon or charms to them.

Supply list:
  • ink- old olive, pumpkin pie, tempting turquoise (all SU) and tea dye distress ink
  • Paper- stampin up scrap kit (confetti) includes old olive, pumpkin pie, tempting turquoise and pattern papers
  • Stamps- All wraped up, Artfully Asian (both SU) used on faux metal tags
  • Other- lots of ribbon, prima flowers, SU brads, buttons, bobby pins, safety pins, charms, staples, white letter rub ons, SU spiral punch, circle cutter, sand block, stickers and borders from SU, silver emboss powder, silver rings used to bind it

Heather - love the tag book - I never would have thought to use a bobby pin in a book... hmmm.... I wonder if I have any of those laying around!

Have a great weekend!
