Sweet Like a Popsicle

This card is special for one of my best friends! She recently turned 16 and I think the colours of this card really suit her. (I hope she doesn't see this before I give it to her!) I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch and I really liked the tallness of the layout. I usually never do this without inspiration and the sketch was definately inspiring. I used a grungeboard oval and some numbers from the elements package for the "16". I used my inks to watercolour the popsicles to match the papers.

Supply List:

  • ink- pumpkin pie, cameo coral, real red, chocolate chip, black
  • paper- tangerine tango, blue bayou, chocolate chip, certainly celery, basic grey cardamon, pink paislee rugged
  • stamps- imaginisce popsicle
  • other- sewing machine, grungeboard, weathered wood crackle paint, edge distresser, ribbon, paintbrush
