Here is a close up. To colour the stamp I first used clear ep on the black outline. This is an easy substitue to stazon ink. Next I diped my brush tip into some water and dabbed it on a cloth. I inked the brush on the edge of an inkpad and blended the light ink colour into the paper.
It is okay to mix black elements with brown! The outlines on the flip flops, numbers and bike are black and the stiching and words are brown.
Here are the new flip flops I got today! I just decided to share them because they relate to my card.... Sadly my dog ate my favourite pair so while I was off buying some to replace my old favourites I also got these!
- ink- black, tea dye distress ink, chocolate chip, not quite navy, green galore, green pigment
- paper- not quite navy, gable green, very vanila
