I am really excited about these flowers! I found some acrylic plastic and ran it through the cuttlebug to cut them out. I sanded the edges a bit to smooth them out and then alcohol inked them! This was my first attempt at using this product and I quite like how it came out. I used the pitch black, bottle green and a brown (possibly something ginger?) Hope you like it :)

June Staff Challenge
I cant believe it has been so long since I posted a layout! I havent done as many as I used to but I create atleast one every month because of our staff challenge at work. Many of them I guess I just havent gotten around to photographing or posting. I plan to catch up on some vacation layouts this summer so there will hopefully be alot more! Speaking of which, today was my last day of school! I have 2 exams and then it is summer relaxation time! HOORAY!
We were given some new basic grey paper that I absolutely LOVE! The black/greyish grid is my favourite! I cant wait to work with some of these other papers that I have purchased.
Part of our challenge was to create our own embelishments. I made this ribbon flower and cut out the center part from some design paper then matted it on yellow cardstock.
