handsome

Hey everyone, hope you had a great weekend! I have been busy packing for my Berlin/Belgium/Paris trip! We leave on tuesday evening, less than 2 days to go! I am pretty crazy excited :) On this art journal page I used an emboss resist technique and a page tearing/molding paste technique. In the future I could possibly to a video tutorial if anyone is interested.

sorry I've been MIA

It has been crazy busy with school and life in general lately. Do not fret! I am not abandoning the blog! I am just starting to get ready for my Europe trip this month. We leave in one week! I am soooo looking forward to it! I hope to come back with some awesome pictures! I will let you know how it goes. I have other big news, many of you may already know but the blog has not heard about it yet. I got my first scrapbooking publication! Yes that is correct! :D In the spring edition of Canadian Scrapbooker, page 55, look for me! :D I found out several months ago but wanted to wait until it was final. Thank you to you readers, you have supported me thoughout my journey and I promise to continue to create. I will post pictures of my published page asap.

Ok, about the project! I used paper from the TH lost and found stack. I did something a little different, see the red wire? I have never used it like this on a card and i like how it turned out. The letter A was cut from a clothing store bag (American Eagle, love them! they have paper bags) and I used a recipe card divider in the background.

Thanks for reading! Hopefully I will find more time to post someday!
