80th birthday Card

This is a card that I made for my grandma for her 80th birthday, wow right? I wish so much that I could be with her on her special day but we live 2 provinces apart. My mom was lucky enough to be able to fly down this weekend but I just couldn't take the time off of school. It is so hard being so far away from such important people sometimes... Anyway, Grandma I love you! have a very special day!
I used my new Tim stamps for this card from his Haberdashery set, love them!
My Gramndma actually gave me these buttons from her own sewing stash, I have a hard time using them because they are so special but I think she is worth it! :P The "80" was made from plain chipboard which I painted with guesso, inked, perfect pearled and crackle painted! The photo does not do the texture justice.
I added some stiching across the many layers to add to the sewing theme. The orange library card is an actual "vintage" piece.
Thanks for visiting, hope your enjoyed the card!
