Mixed Media Tags

Hello all! I hope you are having a good start to your June! I cannot believe how time flies. I started my last semester almost a month ago already and it feels like barely a week has passed. I am really looking forward to completing my degree, but I know I will miss working on such fun and creative projects and, of course, seeing my friends everyday.

Today I have a few tags to share with you. The first two were made for Mother's Day on manilla tags.
On both of these I used clear embossing powder and Distress Ink to create a resist. The chipboard dress forms were inked with embossing ink and powdered with Perfect Pearls. I also used some glimmer mist to finish off the background.
I created the tag below for my brother's 20th birthday. I used similar techniques on the background of this tag, though it is bigger and made of chipboard. I like to paint the bare chipboard with gesso and work on top of that. The letters were inked and covered with UTEE.
On this tag I cut a piece of grungeboard using the Tim Holtz keyhole die and dry embossed it with a Tim Holtz folder. I inked it using distress and chalk ink and added some white Faber Castell Gelato.
I am finding tags so much fun right now! They are quick to make and are so versatile, any product can be used! Thanks for stopping by today!
