December Daily: Week Three

I am going to say it again; wow this month is flying by! Only 2 days until Christmas! I am not ready yet. There are still a couple gifts to buy, all of them to wrap, and cards to be addressed and sent out. Oh well, it will get done eventually and I really don't want to stress over those things this season. Sorry for my belated post this week, but like those other things, this is not something I want to get burnt out over! Thank you for understanding!

Today I am sharing days 14-20 with you, or week three. As I mention in my video (at the end of this post) I will not be posting week four next Tuesday, but rather sharing my completed album on Tuesday January 5th which will hopefully include up to New Years if it fits in the album! Without further blabbing, I hope you enjoy this picture heavy post of week three!

Week One of my December Daily

I hope you have enjoyed this week's DD pages. Merry Christmas to all!

December Daily Post Delayed

Hello all! I am currently working on this week's DD pages and still have to film and edit the video! I had a busy week and didn't have time to prepare for this! I will be posting the video and photos at some point tomorrow, but here is a sneak peek for today!
Thank you for understanding! I hope your Christmas and holiday preparations are going well!

December Daily: Week Two

Wow, this month is flying by already! Today I am sharing week two of my December Daily album. This is a very picture-heavy post, so be prepared! I included my video at the end where I share some of my process and a flip through of week two! I hope you enjoy it!

The "peace on earth" transparency is not very visible in this image, but there is a better photo of it just below.

Here you can see the transparency better! It is also featured in the video (at 4:13) if you would like to see how I assembled this piece.

I included this "merrily" wood veneer on the back so that both sides would be interesting.

The "peace on earth" digital brush is a free one that Ali Edwards shared and you can find it here.

I love creating these shaker pockets! I stiched across the top using my sewing machine and inside is a die cut from the Tim Holtz "film strip frames" die.

These white letters from the Jasmine Jones kit are hard to use because they are so intricate, but wow they are pretty!

This beautiful frost picture was taken by my father-in-law, Michael Ulmer.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and don't forget to check back next week for my week three update!

Mixed Media Christmas Tags

Happy Friday! I hope you are all having a lovely week and are enjoying your December Daily process. I will be sharing my update for week two on Tuesday, so I hope you come back to check that out! I am going to have to change up the schedule for week four (after Christmas) because I am going to Manitoba to visit family, so I might be posting week four and the rest of December on Tuesday January 5th. There is a tiny chance that a Christmas miracle will happen and I will have it ready on schedule for the 29th, but it seems unlikely!

Anyway, today's post is a Christmas mixed media tag. 12 tags actually! I wanted to attempt the mass production that Wilna Furstenbery demonstrated in her recent Christmas tag video. These were really fun and fast to create! Thank you also to loststamper for your request! Here are some detailed photos and the video (with mention of all products that I used) will be at the end of this post!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

December Daily: Week One

Hello all! I have decided to do a weekly video and blog share of my DD album. I will be posting this every Tuesday, assuming everything goes according to plan! I have been editing this video all day and am finally uploading it now! I hope you enjoy the process, Cinch demonstration, flip through, and vlog from the forest!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I found the number printables on Pinterest and printed them on kraft cardstock. Love them!

I love how these shaker pockets turned out! I used my sewing machine to stich the top shut.

In the bottom right pocket is a Jen Schow printable that is available for free this week! her hand lettering is beautiful and you should check it out!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Please let me know if you have any questions or requests. I have been loving all of the DD inspiration that people are posting and if you are doing this project, I definitely recommend joining the December Daily Facebook page.
