Pink Paislee Fancy Free Layout Process

I haven't created a process video in a little while, so I am extra excited to bring you this Fancy Free layout! I literally received a request for this video while I was already filming it, so I am very glad that at least someone will enjoy this. I had a lot of fun following Sketch Savvy's sketch for this page and I especially enjoyed incorporating all of the hexagons! As I mention in the video, I was able to use my friend Karen's Brother Scan & Cut to cut out these shapes. It was so easy to use and I was able to scan the paper and then place the cut lines exactly where I wanted them on the pattern, all right on the machine's display screen!

Below is the sketch that I followed. It is a couple of years old and perhaps hexagons are no longer trending in scrapbooking, but they are still very big in interior design!
For my title I performed a couple of letter surgeries! In the word "unity" the u was once an m and the N was once a w! In the word "candle" the E used to be a 1 and i corrected it with a white gel pen.

Below you can see the subtle gold chicken wire print that I created using a stencil stamping technique.
I hope that you enjoyed seeing my process for this page! I certainly had a lot of fun creating it and the photo is very meaningful to me. I am excited to finally be working away at my wedding photos. Thank you for stopping by the blog today!
