Washi Tape Tuesday: Die Cut Embellishments

My  apologies for not having any videos last week, but the good news is that I have two new ones for this week! Here is the second video in my washi tape series and it is all about die cutting your own washi embellishments. I hope that you enjoy this technique and check back soon to see how I use these pieces. On Thursday I will be sharing my next Emerald Creek DT project.

I think the "remember" die cut would be really cute on a planner spread. I will probably use the leaves for a card of some kind and the frames would work great on a layout or a card. These kind of embellishments are a great way to stretch your dies and use them in new ways. It is also a fun way to use washi in a way that is much more non-traditional.
I love how these rainbow leaves turned out! It would also be cute to cut out several in monochromatic washi patterns. To check out some other great starter ideas for using washi on layouts, watch the series intro here. Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have had a wonderful summer. I am actually looking forward to the slower pace that fall will bring and I also can't wait to dive into my scarf collection again!
