Mother's and Father's Day Cards

Hello all and happy Friday! It has been so long since I have shared anything here, but it is not because I havent been creating! Most of what I have been making is for upcoming classes or for display at our Wild Whisper events. I just haven't had the time to blog about it!

Andrew and I have had a fair bit of change happening in our lives in the last few months. Besides moving into a new condo at the beginning of March, we also adopted a puppy at the start of June! More on this to come soon, but check out my Instagram if you would like to see a picture of her!

Today I am sharing four cards that I created for Mother's and Father's Day! I hope you enjoy the video and the photos below. If you would like to see more of Wild Whisper's products, visit our website and subscribe to our YouTube channel!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I really appreciate you stopping by today! Thank you!

December Daily FLIP 2016 - Week One

Hey all! I hope you enjoy this flip through of what I have completed in my December Daily so far. I have really been enjoying using the Wild Whisper Holiday Style collection because the colours seem to go well with all of my December photos, and it makes it very easy to select papers and pocket cards as they all coordinate so well. If you would like to see what else I have in my stash kit, check out my video here. Also, if you are interested in watching the process video for days 3 & 4, you can scroll to the next post here on the blog, or visit the video here.

Below are some photos of the pages I have completed so far!
Creating shaker pockets with sequins has been one of my favourite things lately! I love mixing the different sequins from our Wild Whisper shop.

I love the shaker pocket on this page. The teal sequins add a wonderful pop of colour that coordinates beautifully with the Holiday Style 4x6 card.
Some Tim Holtz word stickers are the perfect touch to finish this page off.

My title was not staying stuck down to the page protector very well, so I was inspired to stitch across it for aesthetics and security.

I used one of the Wild Whisper heart wood veneers to add a bit of texture and dimension to this envelope.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed this photo heavy post. I will hopefully be working slowly but steadily on my December Daily and I plan to share more asap, so feel free to check back soon for that!

December Daily Process 2016 - Days 3 & 4

Hey all! I am so excited to finally be working on my December Daily album now! I hope you enjoy my process for these layouts and be sure to keep an eye out for my upcoming flip-through! I discuss this in the video a bit, but I was sick for a lot of December and didn't get to do very many "scrap-worthy" things because I spend most of my time laying in bed. Because of this, I am formatting this album more by chronological event, rather than a daily type album. I still have a lot of fun things to share in it, so I am happy to be doing what I can. Below is my process and I hope you enjoy!

To check out the Holiday Style collection, go to our Wild Whisper website. If you are interested in seeing my December Daily 2016 Stash Kit, check it out here.
I am loving these wood veneers! This one is from the Wild Whisper Nature Mix pack. We will be restocking it very soon!
It is always fun to create interactive elements, especially when more space is needed on a spread. The top left photo here lifts up to reveal another photo and some journaling underneath.
I actually didn't get around to taking any nice photos of our tree this year. I usually do some sort of photo shoot  with our new ornaments, but instead I just journaled about them. I'm glad that I at least have this photo!
These cute little Tim Holtz cards are a great versatile embellishment. The pack has so many great holiday-themed words!
I hope that you enjoyed my process for these two pages! Please feel free to let me know how your own December documenting has gone! Are you still working on it, or are you DONE!?

My New Craft Room & Wild Whisper's "No Place like Home" Collection Video

Hello all! Today I am sharing an exciting video - the current state of my new craft room! I shared in my last post that Andrew and I have moved from our basement suite to a new condo and I am thrilled to have my very own craft room now. I did have a great space before, but now I will have more storage and be able to actually close the door while I film! I hope you enjoy this little tour of my craft room in progress. I still have a LOT to unpack, so I will be doing an updated video later, but I just couldn't wait to share.

If you would like to see the details of Wild Whisper's No Place Like Home collection, below is the video that I added to Wild Whisper's YouTube channel.

If you have not yet subscribed to Wild Whisper's YouTube channel, please check us out over there! We have a great team of designers and there are playlists of all their creations and our collection videos available. Wild Whisper is also on Pinterest and that is also a great place to easily browse through the design team creations as well. If you are interested in purchasing this collection, or any others, they are available for sale on our website here. I hope you enjoyed this little update today and I look forward to sharing more of my craft room unpacking process as well as some upcoming projects!

New Wild Whisper "No Place like Home" Collection

I know I have been away from my blog for a little while again, but I have been keeping very busy and it can be so hard to keep up with all of these platforms! I have been blogging on Wild Whisper's Blog lately and it has been such a pleasure to share all of our design team's incredible work. Suzy and I are thrilled about the release of our latest Wild Whisper collection, No Place like Home, which just released yesterday! This one is perfect for documenting all of those cozy, homey memories and we can't wait to start playing with it ourselves. I am very excited to use these papers and pocket scrapbooking cards to document Andrew and I's recent move to a new house. Yes, we have finally left our basement suite and moved into a well-lit ground floor condo! It is such a dream and I am very anxious to get settled in. Anyway, I have shared some images of the new collection here, but if you wish to see them all. or make a purchase, you can find these products on our website here.
The grey house outlines are one of my favourite patterns. Several of these houses are actually places that Suzy or I grew up in!

I think the teacup pattern is going to be another one of my favourites to document with. I am a huge tea lover, but for those of you who are more the coffee type. there is a mug on one of the 3x4 cards.
The small house pattern is something I am excited to use too. I think it would make a great 12x12 background for a layout.

The 3x4 and 4x6 cards are a great mix of titles, journaling, and filler cards. They feature some of my favourite icons too!

I plan to film a video sharing all of these wonderful physical papers, so if you have not yet subscribed to Wild Whisper's YouTube channel, you should definitely check it out and keep an eye open for that! thank you so much for stopping by today!

Emerald Creek CHA Creativation Release "Long Beach" Layout

Today I am sharing a project for Emerald Creek's CHA Creativation release! I had the chance to play with some brand new product and I really had a blast!

It was a sentimental time for me while I created this layout, not only because the photos are special, but because this will be my last project with the Emerald Creek Design Team! I really look forward to future collaborations between Wild Whisper and Emerald Creek. I am so excited for Kim and her CHA adventure this month! She has release some fabulous new products and I especially loved playing with her new Quarry gemstones! They are stunning and there is such a wonderful selection! These will be available for order when CHA begins. I was incredibly inspired by the stones and the ocean themed stamps, so I decided it was the perfect time to scrap some beach photos! Please check out my process video below!

These embossing powders were so much fun to play with! I think they created the perfect sand and water look!
Just look how adorable these tiny Quarry gemstones look! I can't wait to use them on more projects! I photographed this while my tacky glue was still wet, but it will dry clear ;)
I think the stitching added a nice little bit of extra texture (as if the powders aren't textured enough!) and it also secured this challenging piece to the background cardstock.
Oh those gems! And that adorable starfish stamp! Below you can see I created a pocket for my journaling, as I wanted to keep this page simple and clean (my version anyway).
